"Black lives Matters" founders

With the “Black lives matter” movement I saw an article about its origin and foundation. Unfortunately, I was surprised that the founders of this great movement were women. This evidence made me reflect on the counter-narrative theory. What is counter-narrative? A counter-narrative is a message that offers a positive alternative to a hegemonic narration. It breaks with the unambiguous idea posed by the dominant narrative and proposes other ways of thought and reflection on reality in order to produce change (Ritondale, 2020). We always think that great actions for society or humanity are carried out by men and women don’t have any visibility. Well here I bring a little counter-narrative and it simply reminded me of the purpose of the second project.
